Very Friendly hosts lovely location,
Dislikes:
My only quibble was that in winter room was not warm, fine for a man but perhaps not for a woman, would go again but in spring not winter. Single glazed leaded lights are lovely but chilly.

The Landlord also provided a light buffet and Champagne for guests on the house just before midnight on New Years Eve. Breakfast on both mornings was certainly enough to keep us going through the day! The room was full of character with an en suite shower. Read less

There was a friendly atmosphere and the whole stay was very relaxed - there was a lot of choice on the menu in the evenings. We were able to order a packed lunch to take with us during the day
Dislikes:
As the weather was wet and windy it would have been good to have had somewhere to hang our soaking outdoor clothes

Quiet room and clean. As above smashing bar with lovely bar and waiting staff. Owner should be proud of their hard work - well done. Three fire places in bars and totally cosy.
Dislikes:
Like every hotel there may be a down side but there is not a hotel or B&B that is perfect. The owners main welcome included the words "if there is anything you need".
